FAMA Begins

Talevador was in a Quad-Governing structure; an executive branch, legislative branch, judicial branch, and a light transmission unit, FAMA. For about two hundred and fifty years, FAMA guided the other branches as to the impact of their decisions on the people of Talevador. When an unknown vessel appears, many felt joy in the opportunity to prove that they were not alone in the universe. Another person took this opportunity to instill fear on Talevador for the upcoming election cycle, commanding an invasion through her FI to exert control over the people on a nearby planet, Noah. Should the FI soldiers follow orders to utilize a resonating device on the natives, ignoring any guidelines of FAMA?

Find out how the journeys of newly elected Planetary Head Zane, Chief Observer Kusu, and a humble outsider, Topsin, join in the struggle to overcome FI’s reformulation.

It's a journey towards freedom.

Children have been waiting for FAMA’s vision to come into form to rid them of the fear of an unknown.

The vessel appeared in one state with measurements of a vibrational tone consistently determined by Observer Kusu’s team to be that of a static state. The change of the static revealed a different form releasing spectrum light.

While Kusu and the Interstellar Unit were processing the measurements they also deployed a defense parameter. Planetary Head Orna took this opportunity to instill fear on Talevador for the upcoming election cycle to increase her supporters. Orna had only obtained a slim victory in the recent planetary election cycle.

The reflection pool was a staggering three acres, allowing the large population of viewers to tune in from the light reflection transmitted through the pool.

Orna, standing on the immense reflection pool, amidst the population of viewers who were watching her speech from the light reflecting off the water, exclaimed, “All the wasteful spending and wasteful resources spent on FAMA has brought doom into Talevador’s domain. We are the supreme life amongst the galaxy of four thousand years, and it is our destiny to search for planets and develop them into our extended home. Now that we have attracted this vessel, we must control the outcome by sending our forces towards the source of that vessel to show we are a powerful life.”

The reflection pool reverberated from the vibrational applause, the pool’s response from the viewers tuning in. The speech continued on with fear-instilling imagery of further impending doom.

Other planetary leaders who strived to be the Planetary Head made their vision known at the reflection pool, assigned as the platform for the Planetary Head election. As each one presented themselves it was clear the choice to persuade Talevador’s vision was between the incumbent Orna and Zane.

Zane’s approach would be entirely different, because she had a different history on Talevador. She came from the Northern part of the planet where the environment was blistering cold most of the time. The region was developed by pioneers in light reflection instead of artificial electric current illumination. Electric current illumination brought light, but there was something insufficient about it, that people living there felt. The Northern region inspired by FAMA was concerned about the damage a light transmitter would have on Talevador if its emitted light impacted Talevador’s cyclical environment. The concept of putting the emitter along the same path of Talevador’s sun was conceptualized in the Northern region.

The Northern region wanted more light therapy without the harmful impact of polar melting. It developed a hovering light emitter to be placed as close to the horizon as possible so light would not reflect off the ground and get caught in the atmosphere, but transferred more directly out of the Northern region of Talevador into space. There was still dabbled sunlight on the Northern region during the longer nights. The Northern region also became a pioneer in eye filtration protection from the horizon placement of the light emitter.

From this life journey, Zane expressed on the platform of the reflection pool, “With the appearance of something not of this planetary creation, we either go back to fear of one another, or embrace what we have witnessed during Talevador’s FAMA reinvigoration.”

She continued with recitation of FAMA’s history and innovation. One notable commentary she stated was, “Consciousness in its infant form grows loud and large as it discovers fear of an unknown of its own making.” The reflection pool reverberated with applause.

Orna responded, “The vessel is FAMA’s stunt to fool us into believing their myth.” The reflection pool reverberated in different water droplet forms and colors expressing the audience’s reaction to Orna’s view.

Zane passionately and firmly answered, “If not for Talevador’s advancement in light inspired by FAMA, none of us could witness all of Talevador reflecting on this body of water. I see you.” The pool reverberated.

Orna knew she did not have Talevador’s support this time around with the arrival of the vessel.

Orna told her Chief of Security to conduct a deception protocol. “Get the damn ancient resonating device into the compound,” Orna ordered.

“Yes Sir, we have obtained one from the Museum of Wars,” her accomplice stated.

The ancient device was perpetrated on Talevador during the periods of segregation of the Talevadorians and war drafts. It was a resonance weapon used to erase the memories of those who accomplished coexistence within a group who had given up on life’s journey, to prevent them from sharing the knowledge and determination to thrive. The resonating device did this by obscuring the billions of stars’ light traveling towards Talevadorians, as well as supplementing memories of the truth of the stars. FAMA was the reinvigoration that revealed the resonating device and how exactly it was used as a weapon.

It was a period when the few held possession of the majority of material abundance and subjected everyone else to the toil of survival. Each period led to a dictator whose aim was to eliminate more freedom, leading to the eventual desire to either end it all or fight for opportunities for the next generation.

“Never will this kind of planetary life ever exist, ever again. Load it up and send it with the FI coded light,” Orna yelled, then continued her demands. “Was my light capsule coded right this time?”

“Yes, Commanderit,” her Chief of Security responded.
